The Electrical Technology introduces students to the world of electrical careers, everything from residential to heavy industrial electrical duties. The Utility Line Worker Program also prepares students to gain employment with utility companies such as Alabama Power. Jobs for electricians are opening as more and more certified electricians retire with no successors.

Bevill State has no minimum grade or score requirements for students who earn the Alabama High School Diploma, but all students must complete the COMPASS Placement Test prior to admission.
